If GoFibre is available in your area, you can enjoy ultra-fast speeds of up to 1000 Mbps. We offer four full fibre packages—150, 300, 500, and 1000 Mbps—so you can choose the perfect fit for your needs.

Why is there no full fibre in my area?

Plus icon.

Full fibre is an advanced, next-level broadband technology, but it’s not yet available everywhere for a few reasons. The rollout takes time, as we’re building the network from the ground up, which involves planning, digging, and setting up the infrastructure. Unlike other broadband providers, we’re building our own infrastructure to ensure we can offer ultra-fast, reliable service directly to you.

We’re prioritising rural areas of Scotland and North England, focusing on remote, often overlooked locations where others haven’t yet built. We’re expanding our coverage all the time, so if full fibre isn’t available in your area just yet, don’t worry – we’re working hard to bring it to you. Register your interest, and we’ll keep you updated on when we’re getting closer to connecting you!

When is full fibre coming to my area?

Plus icon.

We have a number of locations planned for full fibre rollout, but each area has its own build schedule. The best way to stay updated on when we’re coming to your area is by registering your interest. Once we’re ready to go live, we’ll let you know, so you’ll be the first to hear. Simply check your postcode, and if we’re not in your area yet, you’ll have the chance to register your interest and stay in the loop as we get closer!

What if there are no plans to bring full fibre to my area?

Plus icon.

As we grow as a company, and as more users register interest in a particular area, we’re able to expand our full fibre infrastructure to even more locations. Our goal is to connect as many rural towns as we can, bringing ultra-fast broadband to areas that need it most.

While we work hard to bring full fibre to your area, we also offer wireless broadband. This technology uses radio signals sent from poles to deliver reliable broadband to you, and it can be a great solution while you wait for full fibre to reach your doorstep.

Is broadband the same as fibre?

Plus icon.

Broadband is a general term for any type of internet connection that provides high-speed access, whether it’s through copper lines, cable, or fibre optics. Fibre broadband, specifically, uses fibre-optic cables to deliver internet, offering faster speeds and more reliable connections than traditional copper broadband.

Full fibre, or Fibre to the Premises (FTTP), is the most advanced type of fibre broadband. Unlike standard fibre, which may still rely on copper for the final stretch to your home, full fibre delivers a direct fibre connection all the way to your door, ensuring ultra-fast, ultra-reliable internet speeds that can handle multiple devices and heavy usage without a hitch.
