Our social impact strategy is about making a positive, long-term difference for our customers and their communities.
Our social impact strategy has four pillars:
- Environmental benefits
- Community wellbeing
- Education and skills
- Internet safety and digital inclusion
These pillars help guide our company policies and initiatives – whether that’s completing a company carbon audit, becoming a member of Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland, or signing the Young Person’s Guarantee.
Our social impact strategy also complements our hyper-local approach. We support and work with groups and charities at community level, to create lasting impact.
From boosting girls’ rugby in the Borders with our sponsorship of Borders Girls Rugby Club, to working with Stemovators to develop STEM skills in young people, to the rollout of our GoFurther Fund, awarding grants to charities to date, in Fife, Angus, Aberdeenshire, East Lothian and the Borders.
