GoFibre scores sponsorship deal with Oakley United FC

Independent broadband provider GoFibre has scored a new sponsorship deal with Oakley United Football Club which sees it named as a major new sponsor of the club for the 2025–26 season.  

GoFibre’s logo will adorn the senior men’s shirts this season as part of a sponsorship deal that will benefit the football team and its players through increased investment for the much-loved West Fife team. 

Oakley United are based at Blairwood Park and play in the East of Scotland Football League. The team has had a positive start to the current 2025/26 league campaign with recent results of 6-1 and 8-0 wins over Stirling University and Edinburgh College respectively, placing Oakley fourth in its league table and challenging for promotion.  

GoFibre’s sponsorship deal with Oakley United follows a significant period of growth for the company. The Scottish-headquartered company has over 123,000 premises ready to connect to its full fibre broadband network, including over 26,000 across Fife, and over 1,100 in Oakley. 

GoFibre has invested in Oakley United through its social impact strategy which aims to make a positive, long-term difference for its customers and their communities. GoFibre has also previously supported two Fife charities, Tartan Talkers and Heids & Hearts, through its community-focused grant initiative, the GoFurther Fund.
