We believe great broadband should go hand in hand with strong local support. That’s why we’re proud to invest in projects that make a real difference in Aberdour, Kinghorn and across Fife.
Through our GoFurther Fund, we’ve been able to make a real difference across Fife, including Aberdour and Kinghorn and its surrounding areas.
Two Fife-based charities received support through the GoFurther Fund. Tartan Talkers was awarded £3,000 to continue its vital work around male suicide prevention and mental health support. Based in Fife, the charity offers one-to-one listening, advice and information to support recovery, referrals to vital services such as debt management, addiction support, and mental health organisations, as well as daily peer-to-peer buddy calls and family support groups. Heids & Herts, which received £2,600, uses the creative arts to reduce loneliness and social isolation. Their projects bring communities together through poetry, crafts, and storytelling, celebrating shared memories and creating new connections in towns and villages across the region.
With funding like this, we’re not just bringing faster broadband, we’re helping to build stronger, more connected communities.
