GoFibre bolsters leadership team with new CFO

Scottish independent broadband business, GoFibre has announced the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Pete Flockhart has over 25 years experience in high growth companies and joins the GoFibre team at an exciting time for the Scottish broadband business.

Starting off his career with PwC, he moved on to work with Bank of Scotland, Miller Group and latterly Lloyds Banking Group, where he was UK Head of Housebuilders, providing funding to some of Scotland’s best-known companies.

Pete brings significant experience as CFO, most recently working with the highly acquisitive property management company Lomond Capital which was sold to LDC in 2021.  He has worked in a variety of sectors and high growth companies across the financial services, real estate, retail and biotech sectors.

Pete’s wealth of financial and growth experience will stand GoFibre in good stead as it announces plans for an additional 82,000 premises to be connected to its full fibre network across Scotland and the north of England by early 2024. As CFO, he will oversee the company’s finance and accounting functions, investor relations and advise on GoFibre’s growth strategy.
