How do I switch to GoFibre from another broadband supplier?

It is easy to switch from your current broadband provider to GoFibre. Simply register your interest on our website and we will be in touch to talk about your package options and book your installation. Please note some providers may charge you a cancellation fee, but we’ll help guide you through this process.

What is ‘full fibre’ and why do we need it?

Full fibre, also known as FTTP (Fibre to the Premise), involves fibre optic cables running directly to your property; meaning you get an ultra-stable, uninterrupted connection which allows you to connect up to 100 devices, without a single glitch. Many people still rely upon a FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) connection which is when full fibre cable reaches a green cabinet on your street, but then a copper wire carries the signal the rest of the way. This setup slows down speeds and leads to signal dropouts as it was never designed to carry the amount of data we work with today.

TWO YEARS’ FREE FULL FIBRE BROADBAND - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. This Promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom, excluding anyone professionally connected with this Promotion (including family members such as parents, siblings, spouse and life partners).
  2. Promotion Period: This Promotion runs from 1st March 2024 to 31st December 2024. Monthly draws will be made on the 1st of each month, from 1st April 2024 to 1st January 2025.
  3. To Enter: simply sign up to a 24 month package with GoFibre via the www.gofibre.co.uk and be automatically entered into the next monthly draw.
  4. Maximum of one entry per household during the Promotion Period.
  5. The prize is includes:- two years’ free full fibre broadband on the selected 24 month package of your choice.
  6. Winner Selection: one winner will be randomly selected from all valid new customers received during the Promotion Period. The Prize Draw will be done independently within 7 working days of the end of the Promotion Period, and cover all new customers from the previous month.
  7. Winner Notification: The winner will be contacted by the email address provided on entry within 5 working days of Winner Selection and will be required to respond to confirm eligibility and acceptance of the Prize, within 14 days of initial contact. In the event that a winner does not respond to the initial contact within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner. If a winner is disqualified, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond.
  8. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation.
  9. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including where there is infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions and may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries.
  10. The Promoter and any associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude our liability for death or personal injury as a result of our negligence.
  11. The Promoter may request that the winner participate in reasonable publicity related to this Promotion.
  12. If any provisions of these Terms & Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this shall not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.
  13. By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  14. In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the details in any promotional material, the details in the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
